Yet only blocks away you can enjoy the benefits of shops and galleries, exciting restaurants, and the striking architecture of 19th century Williams (also known as "The Gateway To The Grand Canyon"). The popular Grand Canyon Railway Depot, offering daily rail excursions into the Grand Canyon, is only a few blocks down the road and we take care of all your reservations for you. The Canyon Motel brings together the best of the past and the present.
In our rooms you will find color cable TV, small refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. Our renovated and clean flagstone cottage type rooms are quaint and will delight those who like to escape the ordinary. The road to the Grand Canyon Route 66 and (Highway 64) runs right past our driveway!

The Canyon Motel is Tied into the History of the Area
It was the railroads which opened up the West to travel by the common man, enabling families to experience portions of this country which previously were inaccessible to all but the most hardy.
More than a century later, you and your family can experience the lure of the trains by staying at the Canyon Motel and Railroad RV Park and sleep in one of our two authentic 1929 Santa Fe cabooses, or even in our Grand Canyon Railcar Suite.
We are on the doorstep of the fabulous Grand Canyon and if you are looking for something just a little bit different, the CANYON MOTEL can be the most unique stop on your vacation!
We have the only two authentic cabooses being used for family lodging in Northern Arizona (each caboose sleeps "5"). Retired from the service of the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe system, (ATSF) both have been completely remodeled to accommodate a family of up to five in a two-room suite.
The kids room is at the "rear" of the caboose and they get to sleep in the Coopala area. It has a Color Cable TV/VCR for their entertainment. ($2 VHS Tapes are available in the office). For the adults, we have a Queen-sized bed. You'll also enjoy color cable television, VCR, a personal refrigerator and microwave oven, coffee maker, and access to your personal patio with a gas BBQ. The view from the Cabooses looks into the largest stand of Ponderosa pine trees in the world!
Because this is easily the most unique lodging opportunity in the Grand Canyon area, you'll want to bring your camera with plenty of film!
